Thanks from Womenade

Published: January 20, 2013

San Luis Obispo County Womenade is grateful to the many community members and groups that helped us meet essential needs locally in 2012.

Organizations include: Scenic Coast Foundation, Henry Bull Foundation, Women’s Council of Realtors, Justin Vineyards, Community Foundation: Dunin Opportunity Grant, Morro Bay Presbyterian Church, Temple Beth David, Pismo Coast Foundation, Cloud Star, Triad Realty, B. Anthony Jewelers, Engle & Associates, Whiz Kids, Old Navy, Melaleuca, BP Petroleum, First California Bank, Cirone Farms, Bikes for Tykes, Hospice Partners, Nipomo Elementary, Wells Fargo in Nipomo, Laguna Middle School, Kiwanis of Nipomo, The Food Bank, Merry-Go-Round, and St. Barnabas Thrift.

Womenade, a 501(c)(3), shares 100 percent of funds to help individuals in need. Since 2003, more than $240,000 has been given. Referrals come from health care professionals, social workers, schools, women’s shelters, Family Care Network and more. In addition to funds, people in our network have donated beds, heaters, clothes, diapers, formula and more. In partnership with The Food Bank, we are feeding more than 100 families a month at Nipomo Elementary. Engle & Associates is sponsoring a diaper drive for Womenade clients.
