An elderly man backing out of a parking spot Thursday afternoon accidentally crashed into the doorway of the Hofbrau restaurant in Morro Bay, police said.
The maneuver wedged the driver’s white Saturn SUV into the restaurant's front doorway and had to be removed by a tow truck. The man’s name was not disclosed.
There were no injuries reported. Both the vehicle and restaurant had "minimal damage," Morro Bay police Sgt. Jody Cox said.
