I recall a remark made by Bruce Gibson during the first meeting after Adam Hill was elected to the county Board of Supervisors. He said he thought the board would be more civil and with less friction. This seems to have gone all right for the past few years.
However, three meetings into the new year and already there seem to have been many contentious moments. Could this be happening because Mr. Gibson is no longer able to control the meetings and all the votes? Maybe honesty, integrity and a genuine belief that what their constituents have to say is important, will be considered.
The next couple of years should be interesting.
