Cal Poly junior Molly Schlemer on Monday was named Big West Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
The 6-foot-5 center led the Mustangs to a pair of wins last week at home against UC Davis and Pacific.
She averaged 20 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while playing just over 20 minutes in each contest.
For the season, Schlemer is averaging 9.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest, sinking 53.6 percent of her field goals and 56 percent of her free throws.
