Running back Deonte Williams was named the Cal Poly football team’s MVP at the team banquet Sunday.
Quarterback Andre Broadous earned offensive MVP, and linebacker Kennith Jackson was the defensive MVP.
Williams had 1,506 yards rushing this past season, the second-highest total in team history, and 12 touchdowns.
Broadous had 1,375 yards passing and 18 touchdowns and led the Big Sky Conference in passing efficiency. He also had 500 yards rushing and nine touchdowns.
Jackson was second on the Mustangs with 97 tackles.
