The Atascadero Police Department is planning a public forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday for residents and business owners to discuss community concerns about crime, drugs, gang activity and graffiti, according to a department news release.

The hourlong forum will also introduce the police department’s new service area coordinators, which are teams of patrols recently designated to cover specific regions within the city.

The forum will be held at Atascadero City Hall, 6907 El Camino Real, in the City Council chambers.
