One of SLO Countys oldest stand-alone nonprofit organizations (since 1968) was recently awarded a grant through the Central Coast Funds for Children.
The Community Counseling Center will use CCFC grant funds to sponsor counseling in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles for needy children and their families. Receiving this grant highlights CCCs ramped-up efforts to serve youth. The agency recently opened an office in Paso Robles and began providing school-based counseling for the Atascadero School District. The CCFC continues to make essential programs available for underprivileged children through its grant-making, and CCC is extremely grateful to be a recipient of funding this year.
