Safe, healthy children

SLO-CAPJanuary 6, 2013

On behalf of the SLO County Child Abuse Prevention Council Board of Directors, I want to thank Central Coast Funds for Children for supporting the purchase of 5,000 “My Body Belongs to Me” activity books.

In 2013, SLO-CAP will distribute the activity books to school-age children through our Talking About Touching and Child Safety ID Outreach programs.

Central Coast Funds for Children is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to raising funds to help keep children safe and healthy. As a longstanding partner, Central Coast Funds for Children joins SLO-CAP in meeting our mission by providing child abuse prevention education throughout all regions of San Luis Obispo County. With their support, SLO-CAP is in a position to offer these valued resources free of charge to local schools, service providers such as child care professionals and at community events.
