The Templeton High boys basketball team defeated Valley Christian Academy 59-28 in a nonleague game at home on Thursday night.
Will Mehring led the Eagles with 20 points, while Andy Garretson scored 10 and had nine rebounds for the Eagles, who led 38-17 at halftime.
Jackson Wheeler scored eight and had seven assists for Templeton (6-8).
