Nipomo tops Lompoc in girls soccer

Cristina Ozzimo had one goal and an assist for the Nipomo High girls soccer team in a 2-1 road win over Lompoc on Thursday.

Dani Diaz scored the game-winner midway through the second half off an assist by Ozzimo. Jocelyn Lopez had three saves in goal for the Titans (6-5-2, 4-0 LPL).

Cabrillo 3, Templeton 0

Tyrus Yamagata had four saves in goal in the Eagles’ (1-7-2, 0-4 Los Padres League) loss to the Conquistadores.

Nipomo 0, Lompoc 0 (tie)

The Titans tied the Braves in a scoreless match at home.

Jason Alvarez, had 10 saves in goal for Nipomo (6-7-3, 1-2-1 LPL).
