Regarding letter to editor, “Don’t ban guns,” on Dec. 15. Fred Campbell says, “... the increased availability of weapons to the public decreases violent crime.”
If so, the airline security system is backwards. Instead of prohibiting guns on flights, passengers should be issued guns as they board. (To be turned back in, of course, by those who survive.)
