In reading The Tribune, I saw another article concerning the Boy Scouts investigation. I feel it is a good time to write again of the exemplary role the Scouts have played in so many boys and girls lives.
We have experienced it through the years, and I do want to renew our praise of the local scoutmasters one of whom was the beloved Ira Hughes and all who have given their time and energy, including caring parents who are there to help and guide. It is impossible to know the good they have done over the years.
