The Atascadero Fire Department responded to a house fire at 7576 Cristobal Street just before 4 a.m. this morning after a resident reported the blaze.
According to a news release, the fire began in a trash can in a rear patio and made its way into the main part of the house.
After 30 minutes fire fighters had put out the fire.
No one was injured in the fire, which caused approximately 20,000 in damages.
