Therapy services

San Luis ObispoDecember 28, 2012

The Sandy Hook tragedy also affects us here in San Luis Obispo in some way or another, as we all have friends and/or family who are members of the education community or some sort of first response agency.

Community Counseling Center of San Luis Obispo County is a sliding-scale-fee-based provider of short-term therapy services to low- and moderate-income families, couples and individual local residents. The counseling center has more than 50 caring, compassionate licensed professional therapists, interns and trainees. They unselfishly volunteer their time and expertise to assist the residents of SLO County in understanding and effecting changes in their lives in response to the myriad of social, global and personal issues they may face during everyday life.

Please check out CCC’s website at http://www.cccslo.com, or give them a call at 543-7969. They’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding their services, as well as the many other social services available in SLO County.

Since they are a local nonprofit, please keep them in mind as you consider charitable donations this holiday season. Your generosity will greatly support their efforts to offer counseling services for the benefit of all SLO County residents.
