After the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, I was sickened to see pretend assault rifles prominently displayed in a local toy store. What a quick way to lose my shopping spirit.
As businesses and individuals, let’s do what we can to show respect for the dead and grieving in Connecticut. May this respect grow beyond the holiday season, to a more peaceful and joyful 2013.
