Fight the government?

Paso RoblesDecember 24, 2012

More and more of our congressmen and senators are moving away from the National Rifle Association in support of tougher gun laws and a ban on assaulttype weaponry. There is, however, a notable exception to that.

CNN recently interviewed a senator from Texas who is adamantly against an assault weapons ban, citing the fact that citizens need to be able to protect themselves from government tyranny. Seriously? Does anyone that actually believes this really think that citizens are going to be able to defend ourselves against our government's mighty military might — just because a few of us have assault weapons? How ridiculous!

How many more shootings will we suffer through before we come to our senses?
