3.7 earthquake rattles North County

No damage from quake early Sunday

A 3.7 earthquake shook the Central Coast at 2:02 a.m. Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Service. The epicenter was 14 miles west of Paso Robles and about seven miles south-southwest of Lake Nacimiento.

The USGS collected 187 online reports from locals who felt the earthquake from as far north as San Miguel and as far south as Arroyo Grande, most of whom labeled it as level II, indicating weak shaking and no damage.
