Dead woman found in car that went off the road near Paso Robles

A woman was found dead in her car Saturday after driving off the road west of Paso Robles, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call at 10:21 a.m. Saturday about an unresponsive occupant of a car that had left the road and came to a stop in a wooded area near Adelaida Road and Nacimiento Lake Drive west of Paso Robles.

The person in the car was identified as Mary C. Stacey, 49. The cause of death has not been released.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
