Man sought by Sheriff's Office turns himself in

A man who allegedly rammed a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office vehicle Dec. 14 in an attempt to avoid arrest turned himself in to San Luis Obispo County Jail on Friday night, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

Marc Steele, 37, remains in custody for warrants that include a no-bail warrant for felon in possession of a firearm. He is being held on suspicion of a total of six felonies and one misdemeanor, according to jail booking data.
