In regards to The Tribune’s Dec. 20 article, I wish to respond to Adam Hill’s egregious misrepresentation of Bill Thoma’s character. I have known Bill for more than 40 years and am appalled that such a man as Adam Hill would dare to besmirch Bill’s name.

Bill and his brother Ed have done much for the community, and therefore we should not put any confidence in or be in any way persuaded by these words aimed to tarnish a good man’s reputation. Mr. Hill needs to be held accountable for his slanderous action with a public apology to Bill.
