Justice is served. Now that George Taylor’s murder charge is reduced to “assisted suicide,” let’s hope that California follows Oregon and Washington to allow legalized assisted suicide.

As one gets older or as health issues arise, it should be up to that person to chose when to end life. Why should families suffer a long and costly end-of-life sentence?

It’s time for California lawmakers to put this issue on the next ballot, allowing the voters to decide.
