Regarding Grigger Jones’ Dec. 16 letter about Joe Tarica’s column about too many dollar stores in Atascadero — Jones states that if Tarica doesn’t like it, that he should get out of town and live with the rest of his kind in San Luis Obispo.

Jones should look at the reason people shop in San Luis Obispo, and it’s safe to assume it’s not the dollar stores. Jones’ attitude is in line with many of Atascadero’s self-appointed kings — I guess they must own the town.

I would like Joe Tarica to know along with thousands of other good folks in Atascadero that we’re glad to have him.
