A 28,000-pound MRI machine will arrive via crane today at Templeton Imaging Inc.
The freestanding outpatient diagnostic imaging center is an off-campus affiliate of Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton.
The delivery marks the unveiling of the facility’s new $3 million imaging system, which is said to offer crisper images that can diagnose disease earlier than existing equipment there, according to a company news release.
A crane will be used to unload the MRI machine from the delivery truck and onto roller dollies. It should lift the unit no more than 20 feet in the air, a spokeswoman said.
The move is slated for 9 a.m. at 262 Posada Lane, Suite C.
