When I first saw the new logo for the University of California, I said, “Wow. The university administration recognizes how illiterate Americans are.”

After all, it seems many college grads are unable to spell correctly, write coherently or accomplish public speaking in words of more than one syllable. The new logo takes that into consideration and eliminates all those big words that were on the old logo, and is aimed at the non-word Twitter lifestyle.
