Twenty-four children colored Christmas tree ornaments, played arcade games and visited with Santa Claus at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort’s 35th annual Christmas party held Thursday.

Pismo Coast Village hosted three special-education classes of South County students, including two classes from Grover Heights Elementary School and one from the Oceano Education Center.

“The kids all had a great time,” said Cheryl Britton, who has coordinated the event for the past five years. “There was pizza. Santa came. It was a great day.”

The annual event is funded entirely through donations. Britton said Pismo Coast Village received more than $3,100 in donations for this year’s party.
