UPDATE:A Paso Robles man died after his pickup truck rolled over on Highway 101 north of Buellton early Monday morning.
Jorge Plascencia-Toro, 34, was driving a 1994 Toyota pickup southbound near Twin Oaks at 4:35 a.m. when the vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder and drove up an embankment, according to the CHP. The pickup then flipped over and landed on its roof.
A semi-truck driver spotted the vehicle a short time later and notified authorities.
Plascencia-Toro was prouncounced dead at the scene.
Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have played a role in the crash, according to the CHP.
