Eight Paso wrestlers reach semifinals at Pete Duca Invitational in Nipomo

Eight of 14 Paso Robles High wrestlers — Kameron Morones (106), Kobe Feeley (120), Zack Holmes (145), Marc Martin (195), Austin Yarborough (195), Jimmy Pacheco (220), Danny Roslan (220) and Jon Katz (heavyweight)—are undefeated after the first day of the Pete Duca Invitational tournament Friday and will compete in the semifinals today at Nipomo.

The Bearcats are leading the tournament with 90 points and have one wrestler on either side of the 195- and 220-pound brackets, guaranteeing that one Paso Robles wrestler will compete in the finals in both weight classes today at 2 p.m.

Atascadero had four wrestlers go 2-0 that will be advancing to the quarterfinals.

The wrestlers were Cruz Mendoza (106), Daniel Santos (138), Seth Burchfield (170) and Kade Bolin (182).
