Nearly 900 Cal Poly students are slated to take part in fall commencement ceremonies Dec. 8 at the campus Recreation Center.
Graduates from the colleges of agriculture, science and mathematics will gather at 9 a.m. Richard Matteis, administrator of the California Farm Bureau, will speak.
At 1 p.m., the college of architecture and environmental design and the college of liberal arts will host Grover Beach Mayor John Shoals as their keynote speaker.
And, at 4 p.m., the colleges of business and engineering will gather to hear Kristen Yetter, president of Wisconsin-based Promega Biosciences LLC.
The ceremonies will last about 2 hours, according to the university. Tickets are required for admission.
