Local radio station KTEA-FM (103.5) is hosting an open house Dec. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m., at its new studios on Tamson Street, according to station owner Jim Kampshroer.
Over the past few months, the station briefly changed management, changing its call letters to KMGQ. But Kampshroer has regained control of the station, has reclaimed the KTEA-FM call letters, and is once again playing Old Time Radio favorites. The open house is both a holiday-themed event and a celebration of the return of KTEA-FM.
The evening will feature a tour of KTEAs new studio facilities (in the All-American Video building), soft drinks, holiday cookies and wine tasting courtesy of Madelines Restaurant and Wine Shop in the West Village.
