On Saturday (Nov. 17) The Tribune sank to a new low in yellow journalism with the front page article about Supervisor Gibsons affair with his aide.
There is so much going on in the world that should be on the front page: the Middle East, Syria, Libya, the economy, the debt crisis. We dont need articles like this on the front page, nor do we need any more news about Gen. Petraeus affair.
Yes, these men violated the trust we placed in them as our leaders, but the pain the news media put on the innocent families of these men is wrong at every level.
Reporting like this puts The Tribune on a par with the Enquirer.
