A San Luis Obispo man who police allege had downloaded child pornography onto his computer has been arrested by the Miami division of the FBI.

Jason Lytle, 28, was arrested Nov. 16 and faces federal charges related to the possession and distribution of child pornography, according to a news release from San Luis Obispo police.

Police said that Lytle, a registered sex offender, is still facing charges in California and it is not known if he will be extradited.

A warrant was issued for his arrest after San Luis Obispo police searched his home in the 1200 block of Murray Street this summer and found a substantial amount of child pornography on multiple electronic devices.
