Truck runs into Paso home

San Luis Obispo - The TribuneNovember 23, 2012

The driver of a pickup truck in Paso Robles lost control of his vehicle shortly after noon today, drove it across a lawn on Veronica Street, and into and through the living room before coming to rest in
the bedroom.

Nobody was hurt in the 12:30 p.m. incident at 1034 Veronica Drive, Paso Robles police said, but “the home suffered significant damage.” The city has declared it non-inhabitable and has propped it up

Police said two people were at home, neither close to where the truck entered the house. They did not identify the occupants or the driver.

Officers are investigating the cause. Eight firefighters went to the scene, as did police officers, personnel from the city building department, and a local ambulance service.
