The Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve invites the community to help Mother Nature extend her Monterey Pine forest from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Nov. 25, for the annual post-Thanksgiving tree planting.
Volunteers should meet at the Huntington Road entrance to the ridge trail near the Burbank-Little bench and bring water — and gloves and a shovel, if they have them, and help plant about 250 Monterey pine trees. All of the seedlings were grown from seeds collected either on the Ranch or the surrounding area.
