Donate to Atascadero library

AtascaderoNovember 21, 2012

As Lon Allan pointed out in his Tuesday column this week, the Friends of the Atascadero Library expansion project is reaching its critical phase. In order to open our new facility before the end of Atascadero’s centennial year, 2013, the last 6 percent of the needed funds must be raised soon. If you have not already done it, now is the time to join the many dozens of Atascadero citizens, businesses and organizations that have made substantial donations.

If a thousand dollars sounds like too big a chunk of your assets to give up all at once, think about taking up the Allan Challenge. Make a commitment to a smaller sum monthly or when you can. Go to atascaderofriendsofthelibrary.org or call 466-3495 to see how you can help.
