The Stolo Family Winery tasting room is set to officially open at 11 a.m. Friday, eight years after it began making wine from its vineyard at 3776 Santa Rosa Creek Road, about two miles east of Cambria.

Tasting room hours will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Mondays.

The winery is owned by Don and Charlene Stolo. The new 5,000-square-foot winery and tasting room will include 700 square feet for tasting and capacity to make up to 10,000 cases of wine a year. With two labels, the Stolos currently produce about 500 cases a year.

The 53-acre property has a farmhouse, a smaller residence, a century-old dairy barn and nine acres of pinot noir, chardonnay and syrah.
