Two men were arrested Saturday in Paso Robles after allegedly burglarizing the Walmart store in town, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.

Around 11 a.m., deputies on foot patrol in the riverbed near Niblick Bridge saw Thomas Hess, 25, standing near a shopping cart containing two 32-inch televisions as well as camping gear and shoes, according to a news release. The TVs were still in the boxes, and all of the items appeared new, deputies said.

Deputies contacted Walmart, which provided store security video showing Hess and another man, identified as Daniel Becker, 37, burglarizing the store, according to the news release.

Hess and Becker were arrested on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail -- Becker on a probation hold, Hess in lieu of $20,000 bail.
