When I heard that Walmart was going to be open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, I was extremely upset. I understand that they need the business just like any retailer at this time of year, but to be open on Thanksgiving night — that’s just plain greedy.

There are many people who are having a tough time putting food on their tables, let alone buying the latest laptop computer at bargain basement prices!

My suggestion: Let’s stay home with our families, enjoying each other, instead of getting trampled in the stampede to get something you may not need in the first place.
