Paso Robles’ new Tractor Supply Co. store, which opened Oct. 27 in the former Kmart space at 2800 Riverside Ave., held its grand opening Saturday.

The Paso Robles location is Tractor Supply Company’s first San Luis Obispo County location and its 23rd store in California. The 23,432-square-foot business sells farm, pet and ranch supplies, has a support service division and employs 15 people, officials said.

Tractor Supply had previously considered Atascadero for a location. In 2009, Atascadero approved a master plan for a Tractor Supply store in the Dove Creek project. A company spokesman said Thursday there is no information available about a potential store opening in Atascadero.
