I’m glad people are still writing in memories of Greg Hind. I haven’t been able to shake my sadness either.

Greg was my first mentor when I was starting my business, The Spice Hunter, in 1980 and helped me through the years.

For example, he gave me my formula to price the products, which I used for 15 years. The most important advice he gave me was to emphasize that your people are your most important asset. I tried to respect and reward them even when times were stressful or tough, and that made all the difference in the success of the company.

He was a generous and brilliant man, and I miss him very much.
