Paso Robles has two new police officers.
Stephen Lampe and Nicolaus Heuer were appointed Monday during a ceremony at the city's Emergency Operations Center.
Lampe started his career in 1994 at the Porterville Police Department, according to a news release from the city. He transferred to the Visalia Police Department in 1998, and has a master's degree from Fresno State.
Heuer started his career five years ago with the Sacramento Police Department. He has a bachelor's degree from the Union Institute.
Paso Robles now has 30 police officers.
