I want to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people in San Luis Obispo who have given me support and encouragement during my campaign to retain my seat on the City Council.

Regardless of the winners on Nov. 6, the electorate will have once again voiced their desires through the ballot box. A process we embrace that truly serves the will of the people.

Many volunteers have sacrificed their time and energy this year with the hope that I will continue to serve. I am extremely grateful and can never thank you enough for your faith and trust in me. Finally, I’d like to thank my fellow candidates who have set their lives on hold to engage in aprocess that is unlike anything else we do in our lives. It’s that desire to serve that makes San Luis Obispo the only place I will ever call home.
