A 52-year-old San Luis Obispo man is missing, and authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding him.

Police say Raymond John Hockaday, whom they described as suffering from mental illness and without his medications, left his residence at the 1500 block of Osos Street for his usual walk just before noon on Wednesday, and did not return. He was expected back before dinner.

The authorities have designated him as a missing at-risk adult. He is bald, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown pants, gray tennis shoes, and a black leather fanny pack.

Anyone who sees Hockaday should contact San Luis Obispo police at 781-7317.
