I am a moderate Republican as I think Romney is, but he has been hijacked by the right wing. To get elected, Romney has become a chameleon to the point where he now endorses the Obama health plan, immigration, Afghanistan policy and so many other issues. So I applaud Mr. Cuddy for telling it as it is in his Oct. 28 column (“A schoolyard bully for president?”), as Mr. Romney is a liar who will say or do anything to get elected.

We just don’t know what the real Romney thinks or will do if elected. With Obama, we have four years of recovery, and hope for the next four years. Mr. Cuddy’s reference to Nixon was also correct.
