After reading all the polls these days that seem to say a large percentage of Catholics approve of abortion, birth control and gay marriage, one must wonder — who are they talking about?

I’ve never met a Jehovah’s Witness who wasn’t an “ex-Catholic.” I have numerous friends and relatives who claim they’re Catholic even though they haven’t been to Mass in years and don’t practice their faith. If you ask them what religion they are, though, they will say “Catholic.”

So, when you read the skewed polls, which seem to say Catholics are pro-abortion, pro-birth control, pro-homosexual marriage, be forewarned. Practicing Catholics are pro-life, pro-freedom and pro-traditional marriage.
