On Oct. 21, the board and volunteers of Heilmann Dog Park put on Dogtoberfest at the Atascadero Lake Park. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors, vendors, raffle donors, volunteers and racers for making Dogtoberfest 2012 a huge success.

In particular, we want to thank Mike Lemos, Paul Benedix and all the fine folks at Lemos Feed & Pet Supply. Their generosity to the pet community on the Central Coast truly knows no bounds. We also want to thank sponsors including Supervisor Jim Patterson, who gave us a generous grant, and Canine Academy. The Grizzly Academy provided us with the help of 57 fantastic young women.
