Ed Eby and Craig Armstrong are candidates for the Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors. Over the years, I have had a chance to watch Ed in action at the NCSD meetings. He is always prepared and informed about any topic on the agenda and ready to discuss the issues and form a conclusion that appears to be in the best interests of the citizens of Nipomo.

Now that the public has rejected the bond funding mechanism, Ed has retrenched and is looking for a supplemental water solution that does not involve an increase in property taxes. Ed goes beyond the requirements of his office and reaches out to a diverse population and considers their opinions.

I am serving on a committee with Craig Armstrong and am really impressed with his energy, dedication, knowledge and interest. I think that with those qualities, he will make an excellent board member.
