Pismo spirit at stake

Published: November 1, 2012

I encourage all Pismo Beach residents to vote for their future: for a city with charm, beauty and serenity, free from urban sprawl and infrastructure stress, with sufficient natural resources to sustain our comfort and sanity. The current City Council is not in sync with this vision, so it is important that we underscore our desire by our votes.

Sheila Blake and Eric Howell have repeatedly voiced their intent to curtail wanton development through controlled growth and focused efforts on improving our lifestyle, increasing the attractiveness and utility of our downtown area, and maintaining the ambiance of Pismo Beach, which is so unique and dear to us. I urge you to vote for these motivated individuals and recapture the City Council to support us citizens.
