Proud great-grandma
I spent a couple of weeks in Virginia, where I met our first great-grandchild, Andrew Thomas Cowan, who celebrated his first birthday Oct. 24. His proud parents are Bryan and Alice Cowan and his even prouder (if possible) and doting grandparents are Bryan and Andrea Schmitz Cowan, who reside in Fairfax, Va. Little Andrew thoroughly enjoyed his party and everyone who came to the celebration.
Lynne Schmitz column is special to The Tribune. She is a longtime resident of San Miguel, and her column appears here weekly. Reach her at Lynne_ Schmitz@yahoo.com (with San Miguel News in the subject line) or 467-3565.
