End childish behavior

Published: October 31, 2012

Mitt Romney is an intimidating bully and liar? Is that the best Bob Cuddy (Oct. 28) can come up with to explain away Romney’s superior performance during the campaign and in debate?

And did you not notice, Mr. Cuddy, President Barack Obama’s “snarky” and otherwise immature and derisive comments during the third debate, i.e. “We now have things called aircraft carriers and boats that go under the water”?

Really? How cleverly demeaning you are, Mr. President.

Mr. Cuddy is doing a good job parroting the Democratic strategy of claiming they are only losing ground because the challenger does not play fair. A pretty childish claim in itself. What the heck? Consistent with Mr. Cuddy’s childish theme, how about this: “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” No worries. So far, Obama doesn’t seem to have the political “sticks and stones” to derail Romney’s triumph in November.

Good thing, too, as it’s time for mature and proven leadership in the White House. Enough childish behavior.
