The past month I have been asked many times why I didn’t run again for the Atascadero City Council. With three seats open, out of respect for my three colleagues I felt it would be unnecessary for me to run.

I’m pleased that Roberta Fonzi and Bob Kelley are running for City Council and that Tom O’Malley is running unopposed for our city’s first elected mayor. These three community servants have collectively earned your support. They have served a combined 36 years on the council and planning commission. They have all served skillfully as mayor.

These three bring a wealth of life experiences to our council. They all take a common-sense approach to resolving our city’s challenges. Their love for our community comes shining through and their decisions are always based on what’s best for Atascadero. They are positive ambassadors for our city, with years of active service club participation. Their names are synonymous with outstanding community service in Atascadero.
